What skin concerns can we help with?
We welcome patients with acute, recently developed or uncomfortable symptoms. If you are unsure whether we can treat your concern, please call us.
Detailed information
Dermatitis, itching and eczema
For sudden redness, itching, an eczema flare-up or irritation, we examine the affected area, help identify possible triggers and provide a treatment plan.
Rashes, abscesses and boils
For acute rashes, painful inflamed lumps, abscesses or boils, we assess the severity of the condition. Where appropriate, we provide treatment, recommend medication or refer you to the appropriate specialist service.
Wart cryotherapy
Suitable common warts are treated with liquid nitrogen cryotherapy. During the examination, the doctor will determine whether the lesion can be treated on site and whether repeat treatment may be required.
Hives and insect bites
If you have hives, marked local swelling or a skin reaction after an insect bite, we assess the symptoms and provide treatment advice. Call 112 immediately for difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing or rapidly worsening symptoms.
Minor burns and sunburn
We treat small superficial burns and severe sunburn. Large or deep burns, burns involving the face, hands, joints or genitals, and a poor general condition require emergency hospital treatment.
How does it work?

We agree on the best time for you to come to the clinic.
03
We examine and treat you
Our doctor assesses your condition and discusses the next steps with you.
What should you do after a burn?
Begin cooling immediately: hold the affected area under cool running water for at least 20 minutes. Remove jewellery and tight clothing if they are not stuck to the skin.
Do not use ice, creams, grease or home remedies. Cover the area loosely with a clean, non-stick dressing and seek medical advice.
Call 112 for a large or deep burn, a burn involving the face, hands, joints or genitals, or if the person feels unwell.
More than a quick examination
Urgent care aims to provide a quick and safe solution for acute but non-life-threatening concerns. We look beyond the symptoms: we explain our findings, what to do at home and when additional specialist care is needed.
Thorough assessment
Assessing the severity of the condition and its possible causes.
Clear next steps
A clear treatment plan, home-care advice and follow-up recommendations.
Referral when needed
If a different level of care is required, we explain where to go.
When should you not come to us?
We do not offer mole screening or the assessment of suspected skin cancer. Call 112 immediately for a life-threatening allergic reaction, difficulty breathing, rapid deterioration, or an extensive or severe burn.
Frequently asked questions
Will I be seen by a dermatologist?
At our clinic, your symptoms are assessed by emergency physicians with extensive experience in treating skin conditions, rather than by a dermatologist. The service focuses on assessing your acute condition and determining the next steps. If you need a specialist dermatology assessment, ongoing care or a hospital procedure, we will direct you to the appropriate service.
What should I bring to my appointment for a skin problem?
Bring any previous medical reports and a list of the medicines and creams you use. Tell the doctor when your symptoms began, how they have changed, and whether you have recently started using a new cosmetic, cleaning product or medicine. If the symptoms have improved since they first appeared, earlier photographs may help show how the skin has changed.
Can I come to the clinic for recurring eczema or a rash?
For an acute flare-up, call us first to discuss your symptoms. We can assess the problem and advise on treatment. Recurring or persistent symptoms may also require specialist dermatology assessment and ongoing care; an acute consultation does not replace this. If your symptoms do not improve with treatment, seek another medical assessment.
Do you offer mole screening or investigate skin cancer?
We do not offer mole screening or investigate skin cancer. Please contact a dermatology service for these concerns. Our clinic focuses on acute skin problems that develop suddenly.
Can every wart be treated with freezing?
Not every skin lesion is suitable for freezing. During the examination, the doctor will assess whether it is a common wart and whether it can be treated at the clinic. More than one treatment session may be needed. If a specialist assessment is required to identify the lesion, we will direct you to the appropriate service.
When are hives or an insect bite an emergency?
Call 112 immediately if you have difficulty breathing or swallowing, sudden swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, or fainting. Seek prompt medical assessment if the affected skin becomes increasingly painful, hot, very swollen or starts to ooze, or if you develop a fever. For milder, local symptoms, call us to discuss whether we can see you.
Dermatology consultation
The consultation fee is HUF 33,000. We will inform you in advance about the cost of any additional treatment that may be required.
